Redefining the Student-Athlete’s Day
Academy 48 is the only tuition-free Sports Leadership Academy in Arizona. We combine teacher-led academics, our nationally recognized “Beyond The Game” leadership curriculum, elite-level training, and middle/high school teams to prepare our student-athletes for what’s next.
Environment for Success
We know the day-to-day environment makes the difference. Academy 48 provides every student with a positive, encouraging environment designed to help them succeed. We do not accept negativity or bullying from students or parents, and we vet every family before accepting their application.
Academics
Our on-site program provides student-athletes access to world-class teachers and an NCAA-approved core curriculum. Our academic program offers a flexible alternative to traditional schooling, allowing student-athletes to succeed on and off the field.
Character Development
We strongly believe that athletes should be leaders now and, more importantly, when their athletic journey ends. Our staff believes athletics is the ultimate classroom for real-world lessons. Every day, our student-athletes are taught what it takes to succeed.
College Prep
As our student-athletes enter the college recruiting phase of their journey, we work closely with each student-athlete to identify opportunities that align with their college athletic goals. Our goal is simple: to help every student-athlete find their next opportunity to compete, whether that means playing at JUCO, NAIA, D3, D2, or even D1 programs.

Our Student Body
Every athlete should be eligible to participate in school sports. We support both full-time and part-time students.
Academy 48 is the only tuition-free sports and leadership academy in Arizona. Full-time students are educated and trained throughout the day, giving families flexibility throughout the week.
Academy 48 has built multiple sports programs, including baseball and soccer, as well as school-based teams through CAA, to help homeschool families participate in and compete at high levels in athletics.
